SIO delegates visits CUSAT VC

Representatives of SIO Cusat unit have offered support to CUSAT Vice Chancellor Dr. Gangan Prathap in his efforts to elevate CUSAT into one of the prestigious institutions of the world. SIO delegates visited him at his chamber yesterday and conveyed their support. The SIO delegation included Br.Sayoob(SIO unit president),Br. Abdullah Raseem and Br.Thasleem. They also submitted a memorandum to the VC raising various issues faced by the CUSAT students community.The memorandum urges authorities to take immediate action to fill the vacancies of teaching staff in various departments,take precautionary actions to prevent anti social activities like ragging in the next academic year and to take actions to prevent recurring accidents because of the reckless driving inside the campus.Vice Chancellor assured the delegates that he would look into the matters and take necessary actions.
