SIO cusat unit committee organized a students' protest rally in the Cochin university campus against brutal terrorism by Israel on Palestinian people.The protest was lead by SIO unit vice president and Secretary. Students shouted slogans demanding the freedom of Palestinian people and against the colonial powers who support the Terrorist state Israel and who Rejected the elected rulers of Palestinian people.
The protesters were later manhandled by SFI workers later. SIO unit committee stated that the undemocratic means through which SFI is going is also a form of communalism and colonialism. The anger in the fast growing support for SIO in the campus is leading SFI to such cowardice. Using these methods SFI cannot check the growth of SIO in campus. SIO would not surrender to these cowardice of SFI in CUSAT unlike KSU. Such fascist actions would only help in gaining more support for SIO in campus. SIO Ernakulam district commitee expressed protest in the SFI cowardliness which has crossed its every limits.
