SiO struggle a Big Success: Senate decides to withdraw N-4.

The university senate has decided to withdraw the N-4 rule which was to be implemented for Btech and integrated PG students on its meeting held on friday afternoon. SiO had been campaigning for the withdrawal of the rule at the existing conditions of the university. sio had demanded that such a rule should be implemented only after raising the teaching standards of the university departments and recruting permanent teachers in all existing vacancies which is a lot in number. SiO had earlier declared to intensify the struggle if the authority showed no heed.
