SFI manhandles SIO workers after the newcomers' welcome

Monday 18th aug: SiO workers wholeheartedly welcomed the newcomers to CUSAT BTech courses by distributing welcome cards and sweets infront of the KMSME auditorium after the orientation classes given to newcomers by the university. The new students were very happy to recieve such a sweet welcome. However after the welcome sweet distributions were over, sfi Goondas ran towards the SIO workers who were actively involved in welcoming the new students and tried to threaten them and had manhandled them. sio unit ccommittee expressed its anger over the issue and had stated that 'Enough is enough'. SIO advocated sfi to stop it's voilent and undemocratic means of dealing with other organisations and had welcomed Dialogues between Ideologies.
